Smyrna, Tenn. - Customers of Smyrna-based Allen's Air Care have always known that the service and commitment Mike Allen and his team have provided for more than 16 years stands out among other middle Tennessee heating and air conditioning companies. This year, customers have given back to the company by voting Allen's Air Care as Rutherford County's Favorite Heating and Air Company in the 2008 Ruthies, sponsored by the Daily News Journal.
"We just want to thank all of our customers, friends and family for giving us this honor," says Mike Allen, president/owner of Allen's Air Care. "We've been nominated many years, but this is our first time winning this highly competitive category."
Since it's inception in 1992, the business has grown to 16 employees servicing over 3500 customers annually. Allen's Air Care is consistently recognized as a leader in this industry for its service, sales performance and customer satisfation. According to Mike, "It's my personal belief that if you take care of your customers, your customers will take care of you."
The Daily News Journal started the Ruthies Awards 14 years ago. It is the official People's Choice Awards for Rutherford and Cannon counties and this year more than 280,000 votes were cast by the readers of The DNJ and dnj.com to select this year's honorees.
Part of Allen's Air Care reason for winning this award is their commitment to not only their customers, but also the community. Allen's Air Care recognizes the importance of being a good corporate citizen. They donate their time and financial resources to support Special Kids, and a variety of youth athletic programs.
The company also holds memberships to the Better Business Bureau of Middle Tennessee and Rutherford Chamber of Commerce.
